Welcome to Our Worship Services!

What You Can Expect

Enter to Worship…Leave to Serve!

When you visit our congregation, you can expect to be greeted with respect and deep gratitude for choosing to worship with us. Everyone is welcomed! A Greeter will see that you receive the current church  bulletin which has our order of worship printed on the inside. This will give you the specific details of how our services will proceed.

Our worship services begin at 10:30 a.m., preceded by our Sunday school classes, which start at 9:30 a.m. An opening song, led by the song leader will initiate the start of our worship services. All singing is performed a cappella.

Bibles are available in the pews. However, if you have a favorite bible that you are familiar and comfortable with, you will want to bring that with you. We are a bible-based church that follows New Testament teaching. Scripture readings and references are an important part of our worship service.

There are five elements of worship that are conducting every Sunday. They are singing, communion, preaching, prayers, and monetary contributions. The sermons are generally delivered within a 20 minute time frame. Services normally conclude around 12:00 noon.

The first Sunday of the month, in our closing prayer,  the congregation engages in a “Huddle Prayer.” All worshipers are requested to join hands in the center aisle, as a physical demonstration of our connection to each other, and requests are lifted by an appointed leader on our behalf.

Dress ranges from business casual to your Sunday best, with no real preference to either. We accept people, just like Jesus, just as they are. Our focus is in helping to prepare the inward soul for God’s glory and not the outward appearance of show or style.

Visitors are requested to complete a visitor card located on the back of the pews. These cards are used so that we can welcome visitors later in a more formal way. If you have any questions about our services, please contact our minister, Matt Hale at 216.371-1743 during church office hours.
